Tranquil Retreat

peaceful village great choice lovely accommodation friendly locals
The inn sits in a peaceful village. It provided easy access to nearby attractions. Staff members were friendly. The pub had a real buzz about it and also offered a great choice of food at very good prices. The accommodation was lovely. I found the staff very helpful and the food lovely. The location was great as well. I enjoyed the amazing view over the beautiful dales from the furnished balcony. The mixed clientele, including locals and tourists, created a friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was amazing. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. I travelled with my dog and he felt very welcome. The food was very good. There were fabulous walking routes nearby.
The room was slightly small. The shower needed updating.

local pub homely food hearty breakfast friendly locals
the accommodation is part of a revived local village pub. the restaurant offers a good choice of homely food. breakfast had a good hearty selection.. i found six real ales locally brewed. very friendly locals frequently use the pub and chat with visitors.
the plastic chair in the room was not received well.

charming team efficient service good food
The atmosphere is wonderful due to the team. The team were charming and efficient! The food is good. I had to leave some of my portion.
The room we had was outside the pub. The room was tired, sockets needed fixing, damp on the wall, no proper headboard for the bed.

friendly staff comfortable bed good food
the staff were friendly. they facilitated an early breakfast for us. the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. the food was good.
the sockets needed fixing. there was damp on the wall. the shower was small and needed updating. milk in the fridge was barely usable.
