The staff was friendly, and they were always helpful. The bedroom had all the amenities I would expect. Breakfast was very good, well presented, and served at the table.
The bedroom felt stuffy. The window was like a door. There were only blinds at the window, and they blew about when there was wind.

the bar included a real fire. the dining room was spacious. breakfast options proved very good. the room, although facing the car park, was soundproofed and offered a view of distant fields.
the blinds did not block light from the car park, which stayed illuminated until midnight.

the room was very clean and modern with expected amenities. i had dinner there. the service was attentive. the new hotel is basically a modern restaurant with a comfortable bar.
the bedroom felt a little stuffy, and the window functioned more like a door, restricting easy ventilation. privacy was a slight issue because only blinds covered the window allowing light from the car park until midnight.

The breakfast options were not ideal. I was hoping for fresh fruit, but there was none (a small thing, but i was really looking forward to it). the television in the room was quite small. It made it difficult to see things clearly when watching from the bed.
