i enjoyed a very comfortable bed after my exciting day trip. i relished smoked venison salad followed by an oxtail suet pudding for dinner. i was delighted to find generous fresh fruit salad at breakfast.

the furniture was poor quality in a separate room where i had to eat.

I loved the location it is such a pretty spot and very close to local friends. I enjoyed good food in the evening the chef really knows how to cook. The beds are very comfortable providing a great night's sleep. The price was competitive I thought especially given the area.

The television was a bit small it looked tiny.

The staff was very friendly they helped with all my questions. They made sure I knew the best way to get to Hadrian's Wall near Sycamore Gap which is only a short drive. The entire team contributes to a warm cute atmosphere

I booked a room here and was really happy with the experience. the staff was so friendly and helpful. the food was a real highlight, especially the breakfast that gave me energy for the day. I was very pleased with my choice. the location near the river provided a peaceful atmosphere, though the signal in my room was poor.

the bathroom needed some updating, i saw some mould on the windows.
