the breakfast was nice! the cooked options included black pudding and smoked salmon. the ensuite bathroom in my standard double room had complimentary toiletries and a rainfall shower

the wifi signal dropped in the evenings. this was only a minor issue though

Really good Stay

massive bedtea trayfriendly staffgood service

The room included a massive bed that was wonderfully dressed. I found an amazing tea tray assortment with bottled water and milk. The mini fridge and dressing gowns were a nice addition. The shower was excellent. The welcome from the staff was lovely. They were helpful. Breakfasts and dinners were beautifully cooked. I had a cozy table in the dog friendly snug. The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly. The location is in the heart of the village. Check in started from 2pm which I appreciated. I found the menu had a nice selection. The service was good. I enjoyed eating in the bar area, I had the dog with me.

The only slight issue was that the steak I had was very fatty. There were no mushrooms, tomatoes, or vegetables, just salad and chips.

the staff were cute the room suited my needs. breakfast included delicious fried eggs. a roast dinner was available on sunday it was superb.

i was told about a cake charge of £10 when i arrived with a birthday cake. there were 11 of us dining i thought the charge would be waived. a service charge and cakeage totaled over £42.

I was looking forward to a nice meal. sadly, the fish pie i ordered was disappointing. It lacked flavour. the vegetables were almost raw. it's not as good as it used to be, i don't think i will return.
