The breakfast had a good selection of choices. The bar was well stocked, and i especially liked the Woodfords draft beer.

The temperature control on the shower did not work. It provided only one slightly warm temperature. The shower head was fixed with a plastic cable tie, which did NOT hold it properly.

The heating was a nightmare. it just wasn't working in my room. it was freezing outside, like 3 degrees and the bare floors were like ice, so showering was out of the question. the coffee was also weak. It tasted like water.

The breakfast offered a good selection. dinner included a wide array of food choices. the bar was well stocked. I especially liked the local draft beer. the staff were friendly, providing excellent service throughout my visit.

the walls seemed thin. i could hear some noise from outside early in the morning.

the superior king room featured a comfortable bed. i noticed interesting pictures present on the walls. the room had a lovely view overlooking the grounds. it was clean and well kept.

The staff greeted me warmly! I enjoyed a wonderful evening meal with a tasty seabass. It become my new favorite.

The food was really good, especially the venison. I found every member of staff to be friendly, and the bar was beautifully decorated with a roaring fire. Dinner was excellent. The menu choices were mouth-watering, made decisions difficult.

The room had some issues. Our door had scratches below the handle, perhaps from a dog trying to get out, I think. There was an unpleasant smell inside the room that seemed to come from the bed (honestly, it bothered me).
