failed heating weak coffee

The heating was a nightmare. it just wasn't working in my room. it was freezing outside, like 3 degrees and the bare floors were like ice, so showering was out of the question. the coffee was also weak. It tasted like water.

Excellent Food and Service

friendly staff beautiful decoration

The food was really good, especially the venison. I found every member of staff to be friendly, and the bar was beautifully decorated with a roaring fire. Dinner was excellent. The menu choices were mouth-watering, made decisions difficult.

The room had some issues. Our door had scratches below the handle, perhaps from a dog trying to get out, I think. There was an unpleasant smell inside the room that seemed to come from the bed (honestly, it bothered me).

Facilities

The bar area features comfortable seating and a fireplace. Guests can enjoy a selection of beverages and snacks. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it offers a menu with local and seasonal ingredients.
