Really good Hotel Experience
fine views minibus service helpful staff
The hotel location offered fine views. A minibus service provided easy access to nearby attractions. The staff was very helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were well-kept providing relaxation after a day exploring.
The room did lack some shelving space for unpacking luggage.

The staff remembered our plans each morning and were able to inform us about available boat times to the islands. Luggage handling from the port to the hotel was efficient. The staff were cute and helpful when unforeseen issues arose.

fantastic stay at a historic location
friendly welcome excellent service
i enjoyed the friendly welcome and excellent service from all staff. the quirky and comfortable rooms. i also spent time at the warm swimming pool on some cooler autumn days. the food was AMAZING!!!
i would have liked some shelves for unpacking in my room. there was plenty of wardrobe space available. this minor addition would further improve the room's functionality.

spacious room lovely area
I stayed in a garden room. It was spacious. the outside seating area was lovely. i saw a peacock and rabbits near my room. breakfast and evening meals in the castle dining room were really good.

luggage assistance island view quality meal
The staff assisted with luggage from the ferry. They returned it upon departure. The quality of the meals impressed me. The setting provided superb views of the islands.

missing hairdryer small bedroom
The staff proved helpful .
My room lacked a mini-fridge. A hairdryer was also missing. The kettle had to sit on the floor to plug it in, then I placed it back on the window to use it. I hit my head on the sloping window due to the small size of the bedroom.
