mixed experience due to room quality

My room did not match expectations. It felt dated. the brown carpets and old tile gave the impression of a low-class motel. staff interactions were also problematic. I found some employees condescending when i asked simple questions.

the staff at the front desk allow i to keep my luggage after checking out. i need to go to the hospital to visit a friend and this help me a lot. my room include a kitchen, which i was surprise to see. the building retain victoria era features and i like how it meets modern styling.
the lighting on the stairs were very dim, and i found it challenging walking at night. i wish there was more light on the staircase.
