The public spaces were acceptable.
I was really disappointed by the breakfast service. It just wasn't what I expect from a 5-star hotel. The long wait times for food were frustrating. Communication was sporadic. I reminded me of a nuisance instead of a valued guest.

Really good Hotel Experience

The hotel gardens featured comfortable seating areas. The views overlooking the bay were fabulous. All staff members were polite and helpful. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed.
There was really only one room for everything, including the bar, breakfast, and the restaurant, so it did not feel like there were enough reception rooms.

The rooms are huge and possess unique original features. The hotel provides Chopard toiletries as one of many nice touches. Furniture fits harmoniously with the architecture of the castle. This creates a very stylish atmosphere.

The staff are very cordial and cute. Nothing is too much for them. I received delicious home-made chocolate cookies as a compliment from the hotel. The staff offers the highest level of service, on par with the overall excellent experience. though there was a slight delay upon arrival.

The hotel is located high above the city, giving beautiful views of the sea and the coast! The immediate area is very quiet. A very pleasant walk is possible if you prefer not to visit the city center.

The hotel had a nice courtyard for dinner. I had breakfast there too with fine scenery. The location is on a hill overlooking the sea. Taxis were arranged by the reception desk. The staff IS helpful and efficient.
The pool IS very small. Loungers are packed next to the driveway. It makes relaxing outdoors difficult.

The gardens were beautiful with great views. It was a highlight.
The breakfast service was quite a let down. I had a long wait for breakfast, and communication was sporadic. It was like I was a nuisance, and I didn't feel the table service was good at all.
