Excellent Stay
hotel character friendly staff great location excellent room
I appreciated the hotel's character and nice staff. I was able to store my bags upon arrival, after disembarking from a cruise. The location is fantastic. Upon my return for check-in, the staff upgraded my room, and I was thrilled, it was very grateful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and well-prepared. I found the location easy to access Circular Quay, as it allowed easy walking. The staff were always helpful and courteous . The room size was excellent, and I found the bed very comfortable. Luggage storage was available, which I appreciated. The bar area has a very good selection of meals, including some gluten-free options.
The walk from Circular Quay station with luggage was difficult. It was very steep.

The hotel is conveniently near the Royal Botanic Garden. It allows easy access to beautiful scenery and a restful place. The proximity to the Opera House offers many opportunities for cultural experiences. Public transport options nearby ensured convenient travel throughout the area.

The room included a writing desk and comfortable seating, great for work. The bathroom had marble surfaces and good towels. The air conditioning was effective, allowing climate control, and a quiet atmosphere.

The location was convenient to major attractions. The staff were very helpful and efficient . I found the breakfast offered a great variety. The pool was beautiful and well-kept.
The room I was given was not the size shown in the website pictures. It advertised a couch and larger balcony. These were not present.

outdated stay near circular quay
old carpet dirty woodwork
I was a bit disappointed. The hotel felt quite dated. the carpets seemed old and worn. i also noticed the woodwork looked dirty, it needed a good wipe down. the bathroom had a stained bath, which wasn't ideal considering the price.
