Warm and Cute Stay

room temperaturevictorian feelcomfortable bedensuite shower
The room was lovely. The room was warm. The hotel had warm temperature for evening drinks, for dinner and for breakfast. This comfort was important during this time of year, and I appreciated feeling relaxed in my surroundings. The hotel has architectural interest. Furnishings and lighting added detail to the arts and crafts Victorian feel. I slept on a comfortable bed. I used the ensuite shower, and I enjoyed the bath.
The bedroom design felt old fashioned. It was also quite large for a single person, and that was not to my preference.
Location
9/10
The hotel has a good location near Storrington, and it is very near independent shops. I found a wonderful ironmongers, Waitrose, tearooms, and a good Indian restaurant nearby. This was very convenient.
Rooms
9/10
My room was spacious and clean. I appreciated the order. The bed was comfortable to sleep on. Large, clean towels were available in the bathroom, and that was very practical.
Facilities
10/10
The hotel has subtle background music and even no music options in selected areas. This allows for meetings and relaxation, which I really needed. The staff was cute, and that was lovely.

a Cheerful and Convenient Stay

prime locationfree parkingtasty meal
Location was prime, which helped my work plans in West Chiltington. I found free and plentiful parking, always a bonus. I enjoyed a tasty evening meal and the complimentary continental breakfast. It was a perfect deal.
My room smelled a little musty. I was unable to open window for fresh air.
Service

The staff i met were very friendly and cute. They helped me plan my stay and also ensured everything went smoothly. Big thanks to them all!
Location
10/10
The hotel is ideally situated near local attractions. It is very easy to find. There is ample parking available directly at the hotel for all guests arriving with a car.
Rooms

My room features a big, comfortable bed. The bathroom features a separate toilet. There were good amenities, these included a seating area and a TV.
Dining

The continental breakfast included a very wide selection. I saw fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, cheese, and salami. I also saw crumpets, toast, juice, and coffee.

the breakfast was acceptable , but nothing special.
the room reeked of stale air , and opening a window wasn't possible. the furniture was overwhelming , like they crammed in everything they could find at a flea market. the wifi was atrocious , practically non-existent.

Charming Stay

friendly stafflocal fooddated interior
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was locally sourced and fabulous. The free continental breakfast offered plenty of choice. Local marmalades and jams added a charming touch (i loved it!).
The hotel looked pretty from the outside, but the interior seemed tired and dated. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The room was either too hot or too cold, made temperature regulation difficult.
Location
9/10
The hotel is near various points of interest, with convenient access to local shops and restaurants. Several well-kept parks are within walking distance and offer spaces for outdoor activities. Public transport links are readily accessible from the hotel entrance.
