romantic getaway

friendly staff delicious salmon peaceful pool

i found the staff wonderfully accommodating they helped us book a tour to see the fjords. the breakfast selection had smoked salmon it was delicious with fresh pastries. the pool hours for families provided a peaceful time for us to relax and swim together.

the minibar remained empty during my entire stay which was slightly disappointing.

the room had two comfortable queen beds covered with soft linens plus a pullout sofa. i noticed there were blackout curtains the sunlight could not enter in the mornings. the bathroom featured heated floors a wonderful touch.

breakfast included fresh juice options such as apple and orange besides the standard fare. i spotted glutenfree bread a nice option for those with dietary restrictions. dinner service offered a threecourse meal with local seafood options.

the front desk offered 24hour assistance with well trained staff always ready to help. i also saw luggage storage available that needed to leave their bags. turndown service included chocolates on the pillows at night adding a sweet touch.

Acceptable Stay with Minor Issues

poor shower uncomfortable bed

I found a few things disappointing. The shower head definitely needs descaling. Water flow was poor. The bed, while acceptable, was not the most comfortable one during my travels. I expected better sleep quality. These issues detracted from the overall experience.

the breakfast had many options. the staff was helpful. the facilities available, like the swimming pool, sauna, and gym, were a definite plus. the hotel was super clean, and the design of the rooms was cute.

i found the minibar to be empty, a small disappointment.
