renovated room fantastic location slow service customer issues
The room A309 in the andaman building was newly renovated and BEAUTIFUL. The location is fantastic. It is a five-minute walk to restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, currency exchange, and convenience stores. The beach across the road is also beautiful. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and on the beach. There are also quiet sitting areas.
The check-in process was inefficient. The service was painfully slow. The hotel does not have a guest relations manager to address customer issues. The staff's kindness was a saving grace, but it does NOT make up for the overall lack of professionalism.

mixed feelings at this hotel
poor communication unwanted phone calls
The hotel gym was nice. It was big and clean, i will give them that.
The communication here was definitely lacking. We had 'do not disturb' on, but our phone still rang multiple times. A staff member agreed to a late checkout, though the next day our phone rang again because they said we were late checking out, how lovely.

omg, i had such a blast staying there! the staff was super friendly, especially ploy, who welcomed me with open arms. christmas decorations made the foyer so warm and friendly. the location was a dream, and i loved that its a short walk to the local shops and markets.
i stayed in may 2024, and i gotta say, it felt a little empty and souless. it was 30 mins late!
