Acceptable stay with minor issues

clean room excellent staff amazing food unwelcoming arrival pre-order breakfast no room service

The room was clean. The temperature inside was comfortable. The staff were excellent. The bar was lovely and relaxing with the open fire. Food was amazing.

I was given my key at the bottom of the stairs. I was told where my room was but I was not shown to my room. There was also a form for pre-ordering breakfast, but I am not a fan of this. It is difficult to know what I will fancy for breakfast the night before.

spacious room clean room damaged lamp poor fitting

The room was spacious and clean. The shower was large and the water pressure was good. The tea and coffee were welcome. I appreciated the bottled water.

The carpet fitting was not great near the door. The wall lamp had damage and cobwebs. I noticed the headboard was not wide enough for the bed. It was only secured on one side.

underwhelming experience

slow service unhelpful manager

the service was unbelievably slow. i waited an age for my food. when it arrived, my partner's meal was stone cold. to add insult to injury, the manager was less than helpful. she seemed annoyed rather than offering any assistance.

carpet fitting shower base

The room was comfortable a coffeemaker was a bonus instead of instant sachets

I spotted terrible carpet fitting it was cut short by the door the sealing around the shower base to the tiles was bad inside the shower there was mould
