tranquil riverside retreat

warm welcome oasis setting relaxing soaks

i appreciated the warm welcome from the staff, especially beam (she was always smiling!). the setting was like a true oasis after the hustle of bangkok. i also really enjoyed the spa massages and was happy my room had a bathtub.

i noticed that the sliding balcony door didn't block much outside noise. this meant i could hear people talking as they walked by, a bit disruptive at times. a better soundproofing would be really beneficial.

terrible soundproofing small gym

The breakfast buffet had a great selection of items. THAT part was acceptable.

The soundproofing in my room was terrible. I could hear everything happening in the hallway. People walking past my door sounded like they were IN my room. the gym was quite small. It only had a couple of treadmills. It was difficult to get a workout in with so few options.

The architecture featured details inspired by the ancient Lanna kingdom! I noticed antique furnishings and a private balcony in my room. Breakfast had considerable variety, with delicious foods. The resort also gave small Christmas gifts. The service was attentive, and the staff met my requests, too.

The technology in the room felt slightly outdated, though everything else was wonderful.
