really good stay
fine grounds outdoor pool friendly staff convenient location
The grounds are fine, and the outdoor pool is beautiful. i found the staff friendly and helpful. The tennis court and pool room were great for activities, but they do get busy, so bookings are essential. the front desk staff was amazing, and i really appreciate their assistance. the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
The spa and sauna close early at 5:30 p.m., requiring a trip to another area to use. I wanted to use them after a day of exploring.

The hotel is close to echo point. A short walk allows easy access to the three sisters. several shops and restaurants are nearby, and the convenient bus journey from the train station stops right outside the hotel entrance.

My beautiful double room view had good shower, a separate bath, nice products, and kettles. the room featured comfortable furnishings with design that nods to the building's history. The separate lounge area was spacious and useful.

a somewhat dated stay
lush gardens friendly staff small gym room updating
the gardens are nice. i saw beautiful plants and well kept lawns. the staff was friendly, offering assistance with directions. it made navigating the grounds easy. breakfast includes many options. i ate fresh fruit and hot dishes at Darley's restaurant.
the gym is very small with little equipment. i only saw two treadmills and one stationary bike. the room need updating and didn't have a minibar. it did feel a bit old.

outdoor pool beautiful gardens recreation billiard limited gym tiny room absent minibar
the gardens are beautiful there is also an outdoor pool i swam in the billiard room offered great recreation. the dining area was lovely and i enjoyed its ambience.
the gym is small it has very little equipment the rooms are tiny and offer zero view. the breakfast was the worst i have had in some time a minibar was unavailable in my room.

The room was spacious. It had a great view. The casual dining and breakfast food was EXCELLENT!!! Staff were courteous and efficient. They were eager to please.

convenient location matching wallpaper generous bathroom
the location near echo point was really convenient. i walked to see the three sisters easily. the hotel included umbrellas and robes. the bathroom was generous with matching wallpaper and curtains.
i noticed some tiles coming off the wall in the dated steam room.
