courtesy suite perfect view excellent staff

The front desk give us suite for relax after flight. I could keep the suite . Sea view was perfect and fabulous. The staff is excellent and the hotel had museum pieces.

The bathroom have slightly odorous, and dusty, it could do with deep clean.

Staff anticipated needs before I did. Hyatt remembered me from last year and made my breakfast at La Rotunde special. Louis, the day-time manager, was excellent and an asset to the hotel.

The room it had a amazing sea view. All rooms are individual and appointed beautifully with new bathrooms. The hotel is central to everything and I saw the dome of the hotel from day trips.

uneven stay at renowned location

faulty air conditioning obstructed view

the location right on the promenade was definitely a plus.

i encountered a problem the air conditioning in my room was not working properly it was very uncomfortable the staff's response was quite slow and inattentive. also the promised sea view from my beautiful room was mostly obstructed by trees the pictures online were misleading i was frustrated.

the hotel displayed art throughout (i found this excellent). the concierge helped arrange day trips (that was very useful). the beach club was a nice amenity. i swam there almost every day of my stay.

the air conditioning blew directly onto the bed (i got a cold). i could not work the shower taps properly. breakfast was satisfactory, but understaffed (i waited a long time to check in).

Really good Stay at Iconic Location

I appreciated the staff. They smiled a lot. I found Victoria at front desk very professional. Remi the concierge provided excellent recommendations. Daniel at the beach club ensured relaxing time. The hotel presented a fine appearance and also offered a great location. Everything felt very convenient. The rooms offered a quiet atmosphere. I liked that each floor has a different theme. The themes. I visited each of them. All the floors were amazing.

good aspects, some minor issues

helpful concierge beautiful art pieces sea view aggressive staff rude doormen security issue

the hotel is like a museum. beautiful art pieces from times gone by are alongside modern pieces. the concierge is available, ready to answer questions. they are helpful setting up arrangements for day trips and other attractions. i had a junior suite sea view.

the security staff was aggressive. i witnessed this on multiple occasions . it eventually became comical (i mean, it's a hotel, not a military base). i also found the doormen treated guests disrespectfully. they wouldn't even let us in the hotel without a reservation.
