the staff were very friendly.. nothing was too much trouble. the food quality was excellent, especially the dinner, which reached a fine dining level. the quiet rural location is a good base for touring villages in the dordogne.

the grounds and the building were both charming. i also appreciated the fact senior staff members were helpful with any request. some of the younger staff members were still gaining experience. the food was very good.

my room was a standard size. it felt somewhat small. the hotel provides no sunshades near the pool. the lawn was dry.

The hotel didn't really meet my expectations. The lack of attention to detail around the hotel was disappointing. The lawn looked DRY, and the pool was missing sun umbrellas. I expected better for what I paid, IT was not a relaxing experience.
