the hotel has a wonderful garden with magnificent trees. our room faced the sea and had direct access to the garden patio (i loved that!).

i found service at the restaurant slow. there were long waits between courses, sometimes fifty minutes.

i enjoyed the spacious room with a sea view and sub-tropical gardens. the hotel has retained its character features from the art deco era and includes modern conveniences. the beds were very comfy i found super evening meals with varied choices and nice wines. the staff were nice i found them very helpful

i found that the wifi in the room was spotty and unstable

the building is gorgeous with so much history. the gardens are wonderful and i enjoyed the large swimming pool. the staff was multilingual and very helpful.

a mixed bag of experiences

the hotel's location overlooked the town, so that was acceptable.

The restaurant service proved slow. It took far too long to get the dishes to the table.. i think it was partially because of the poor english knowledge of the staff.
