excellent courses warm staff water temperature uphill location
The dining experience stood out to me. I enjoyed the excellent courses and the care put into the preparation. The staff were attentive and warm.
The shower's functionality was disappointing. The water temperature shifted unexpectedly from cold to hot and it took a long time to heat up. The location was uphill. It made walks to the town centre challenging.

dual aspect bedroom interesting paintings period features rude receptionist hill location walk early check-in
The room had a dual aspect. I could see Ben Vrackie from the bathroom. The paintings added character. The food tasted better than described.
The receptionist was rude upon arrival. I arrived at noon for early check-in. She said there was no way for early check-in. The hotel is up a hill so its a bit of a walk.
