The bed sheets felt very silky. The hotel staff were very helpful. The hotel location is great with walking distance from the hop on hop off bus.
The room's lighting system was not ergonomic. Having only bedside lamps on was impossible without turning on most ceiling lights. I found excessive use of plastics in bathroom products. It was a bit disappointing.

Excellent Hotel in Central Location

I found the hotel to be well located in the central historic district. I appreciated the heritage tour with Jean, which allowed me to appreciate the location. The MRT station is conveniently located right across the road. There were many food options available on three levels downstairs. I especially liked the Portuguese tart shop on B2.
I found that the room was not very clean or well maintained. The study table still had hair from a previous guest. I also noticed a piece of contact lens in the trash can. The air vent in the toilet was full of dust and definitely needed vacuuming. The rainshower was clogged, causing water to spray everywhere.

The breakfast was really good (especially the pastries!). The staff members were consistently helpful and courteous. The hotel's location is convenient, providing easy access to many attractions. The daily aperitif time, with wine and snacks served each evening, was a good touch that I valued.
The check-in process was slow. I waited an unreasonable amount of time to receive my room.

unfriendly lightening systemmissing safe
My stay Wasnt exactly smooth sailing. First off, the lighting system was like i was trying to solve a rubik's cube, very UNfriendly. Then there was the size of the room. I booked a beautiful room, yet it felt more like a shoebox. Luggage space Was basically nonexistent. a safe was advertised, but guess what? it was missing.
