The rooms were very quiet, i slept well. The breakfast included a full fry up. I liked it. Staff was friendly, and i felt welcome.

The breakfast include sausage, bacon, mushroom, black pudding, a fried egg and a grilled tomato. The evening meals were beautifully presented and of a la carte quality. It was a treat.

I enjoyed the quiet location and the countryside views. the night manager was helpful with check in when i arrived late. breakfast included quality produce. The preparation was efficient. i'd definitely recommend a stay.

I noticed the external gates lacked locks. This allowed anyone to walk into the courtyard. this felt a little unsafe. I believe installing locks would improve security. privacy should be a priority.

The fish I ordered at Friday fish night was overcooked. The batter was dark and hard. The portion of mushy peas was small and the meal did not look like the photos online. I would go to my local fish and chip shop next time
