A Good Coastal Escape
gated parking separate shower wide choice cute staff
The hotel offered gated parking, just a short walk away, our vehicle's safety. Our room featured a large bath and a separate shower, providing both convenience and luxury. I found the breakfast excellent with a wide choice of items prepared to order. I appreciated the cute nature of the staff. They were always ready to assist.
The lack of a refrigerator in the room was a minor inconvenience.

The rooms boast immaculate presentation, promising a very nice and neat environment (I especially adored the fluffy towels!). The warm rooms had plenty of hot water in the bathroom, which I greatly appreciated.

Off-street parking offered additional convenience, with easy access and security. I enjoyed the ambiance at the connected pub, with delicious food and a cute atmosphere. The breakfast menu had a good choice of items, and all were delicious.

cramped room chaotic breakfast
the staff was helpful (they gave me a map).
The room i had, a standard double shower, felt quite cramped. I kept bumping into things. also, the breakfast setup was chaotic. the coffee machine was broken, and i waited almost 20 minutes for someone to refill the pastries. it started the morning off on the wrong foot.

delicious breakfast attentive staff warm room
The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked! All staff were attentive. The rooms were spotlessly clean too. I found a warm room with plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The bed was comfy, so I slept well.

the breakfast menu had a great choice. the food was excellent and cooked perfectly. the location had a perfect position for all my plans.

adequate stay
efficient staff quiet location cappuccino charge hot room
the staff were efficient but not overly so. the location is quiet but just a few minutes from the beach. i could easily walk to good bars and food.
for a boutique hotel, the extra charge for a cappuccino is not ideal. my room was too hot for sleeping comfortably. a little fan did not cool the room sufficiently.

Excellent Southsea Stay
parking permits seating area vegan options
Parking was simple with provided permits for nearby streets. The outside seating area was attractive. My room included nice decor and sufficient space. Vegan options were readily available during breakfast hours.
The cappuccino incurring an extra charge seemed unnecessary in a boutique setting. Adequate air conditioning must be a priority during summer months. Small fans do not cool the room.

The hotel has a very convenient position, close to several independent restaurants. The area includes options for shopping at Gun Wharf Quays. Access to the historic Dockyard is very straightforward from this location.

The hotel provides secure parking. There is also a new conservatory to use. The beautiful outdoor eating area allows a different experience. The hotel owns a pub just across the road.
