mixed feelings about my stay

shared bathroom lower standard
i had to switch rooms . i was initially in a nicer suite but then moved to a standard room above the pub. this room had a shared bathroom and felt much less comfortable. it didn't match the initial quality i experienced

the room was clean. the bed was comfortable enough.
The promised toiletries were missing, a big letdown. the breakfast buffet lacked variety. the coffee tasted weak. the noise from the nearby road was constant. Making it hard to sleep. i really regretted not bringing earplugs.

easy parking lovely bath clean sheets
I found easy parking. The location is quite nice. the bath was lovely, and i enjoyed the clean sheets. the bar had a great ambience!

lovely stay in countryside

comfy bed beautiful bedding friendly staff
the room had beautiful bedding and was large and comfy. there where friendly staff, really helpful. breakfast was good, it had lots of lovely little touches. the location is awesome, its view from the window is beautiful.
i booked a room in the pub and its standard was low. i had to share a bathroom which i didnt like.

this cottage is separate from the pub, so it is nice and quiet. it provides fine views and a beautiful setting. i saw a beer garden and a good selection of drinks at the pub.

the dinning room has quaint decor and dates back a while. the food was excellent and i liked it. the bar area seems great, and the drinks where good too.

the manager, lisa, done such a good job running this inn, it is traditional and historic. all staff members are friendly. staff where helpful and polite .
