I found the staff very polite and helpful. The hotel's location is lovely and near the seashore. A ten-minute walk leads to shops, bars, and restaurants.

Breakfast is excellent and adding it is worthwhile. You walk to the main hotel on Florence Road for breakfast. The walk takes less than five minutes. The staff catered to every need with breakfast room service.

The hotel is centrally located, a five-minute walk from the beach and twenty minutes from the centre. Southsea restaurants and access to the promenade were so convenient, also the short walks to Gunwharf Quays and Southsea Pier. Local transport was great.

The staff was very nice and friendly I thought. The breakfast was great too. The room and the building was lovely, they were very clean. I enjoyed my stay there a lot.

The directions to check in were not clear at all when I arrived. The address given was Main Reception, Florence road. I did not realize the hotel was part of The Mercer group so I got confused. This information would have saved stress and time.

The breakfast had so much choice and it was excellent!!! the rooms were individually decorated with beautiful wallpaper. Even the entrance and staircase were fine. it was lovely and clean, with a good selection of drinks. the staff were so friendly and cute.

Finding the reception proved really difficult as it wasn't well sign posted. the bathroom only had a bath, not a working shower. Just a useless shower head with only cold water. the toilet flush also didn't work properly. I was annoyed!!!

i arrived and was greeted by friendly staff. the breakfast was AMAZING!!! i selected the superior king bath and it was spacious. it included a roll top bath, a nice surprise.

the signage to find the reception was a little confusing at first.
