The breakfast buffet was huge. i loved the fresh fruit selection and the made-to-order omelets (i ate so many!). the gym had a good range of equipment. I used the treadmill and weights daily.
the hallways on my floor seemed a bit dated. it could use some updating.

the breakfast was acceptable (not really good, but acceptable).
I found the service lacking. The staff's english was poor. communication was difficult, especially as no one escorted me to my room upon arrival. i located my room after a long flight unassisted. The carpet was old, it smelled bad.

fantastic stay with great amenities

the hotel grounds are extensive. i loved the multiple pools and direct beach access. the staff was warm and cute. the hotel had spacious rooms (i was staying in a club grand room king) with ocean views from the balcony.
ordering food from room service resulted in a misunderstanding. pork was not clearly indicated on the menu for a dish. this is important for muslim travelers to know.

the staff, from security to housekeeping, were attentive and caring (i really appreciated their smiles!). every staff member i encountered seemed to care about the hotel.

the breakfast selection was great (especially the pancakes!). the bay restaurant offered very nice food, alongside top-tier service. however, the hotel should focus more on the quality of food, rather than quantity.
