louis helped me organise an 80th birthday celebration. the food and service were excellent that night. we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the lovely dining room.. the freshly carved ham was worth it alone.
i revisited recently as part of a group. one member has a disability and requested the same room as last year. the hotel has 89 rooms but only 1 disabled park, difficult to access.

i found the staff quite attentive. the bedroom i had was large. the bed was also comfortable.
i was disappointed that they do not serve toasted sandwiches. i was informed they lacked kitchen space for a toaster. it seems odd for a four-star hotel.

My Double Room was very clean and large. The bed was comfortable. The check-in process was fast.
The receptionist had poor English. The hotel has become very dated and appears tired. The staff service was a mixed bag and not good enough for what is an expensive hotel.
