Really good all-inclusive experience

The resort offers a really large pool, with varied water sports. outdoor games are available, along with table tennis. i also found candle-making sessions and drink-mixing classes. daily yoga and pilates lessons took place on the beach. Nuno m led the classes. i booked one of the seven restaurants through the hyatt app. i also used the app for room service requests.

The buffet had standard fare. It was not quite a 5-star offer.

the room was clean. the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. premium drinks and cocktails were available. the staff was great and always ready to assist, rain or shine. all a la carte restaurants provided fabulous meals. buffet meals had plenty of choice.

the resort is located a 25 to 30 minute drive from funchal. the resort operates a shuttle bus for a fee. the shuttle provides transportation to and from funchal, facilitating travel to the city center.

the rooms feature modern decor and include built-in bluetooth speakers in the bathroom. there are double rooms available, including options with garden views for adults only, as well as apartments with marina views. family rooms with garden views are also an option.

i found the staff very dedicated. the entertainment team organized activities multiple times each day. i attended a yoga class. grace was knowledgeable and qualified to lead this session.

the check-in process was not smooth. the app i needed did not load. dinner reservations were required and available only at 9pm. the rooms lacked face-soap.
