Excellent Stay near Yala National Park

I found this hotel to be situated in an excellent location. Yala National Park was about a 40-minute drive away. The surroundings are picturesque. The hotel is right by a vast lake. The restaurant impressed me with its ambiance and food quality. Meals were delicious, well-prepared, and a treat. Staff were friendly.

Our room had a slight issue with a few ants. the balcony had some white crystal larvae. These opened up overnight into brown lumps.

The air con WORKED well. I visited Yala and Bundala National Park. Both are near the hotel. The hotel also had its own deck and seating with views out over Weerawila lake.

The room was not as clean as I would have expected from Hilton. The area outside the gym needs some tlc. Music plays in every corner, even outdoors. This prevented us from hearing birds.
