really nice stay!

delicious breakfastcomfortable loungefriendly staffbeautiful grounds

the breakfast was delicious, i especially liked the pastries and fresh fruit. i also enjoyed the spacious and comfortable lounge areas, it was easy to relax after a long day. the staff were friendly and always ready to assist. the hotel grounds are beautiful, i had a nice walk around!

The bar closed quite early for residents, a little inconvenient. It would be nice if it stayed open a bit later.

The hotel offers convenient access to nearby attractions. Dagenham is easily reachable for a football game. the surrounding area is calm. this made exploring quite straightforward.

The staff was helpful for taxi bookings. the hotel had everything for a getaway. the grounds are beautiful. I liked the location.

I found the corridors past reception grotty. the staircase to the pool was dirty looking. part of the banister was broken. It felt dangerous.

some issues dampened the experience

old roomshocking food

i stayed a few nights recently. the reception team was nice, but my room felt old and tired. it really needed a refurbishment. the food was shocking. everything seemed to come from a freezer. one night, i had some snacks that tasted disgusting. the restaurant served an inedible beef pie. breakfast was a joke, and i couldn't even get a latte in the morning!!!

The staff were helpful and very responsive to our requests, i liked that. the hotel had ample car parking. It was convenient for us. the breakfast had many options and was tasty. the hotel also decorated our room with balloons for my wife's birthday. This was a special touch.

the gym equipment looks a little dated. it needs a bit of updating here and there.

the hotel has an outdoor pool that looked inviting! the tennis courts seemed in good condition, and i saw guests using them. there is also a gym with treadmills, bikes, and free weights for a good workout.
