my room was a very nice standard. the bathroom too was a very good standard. the restaurant was very nice and the food a very good standard too.
The car park wasn't clearly marked. It was confusing. two dimmer switches either side of the bed didn't do anything. the room did not have air conditioning so a leaflet explaining how to work it was confusing.

mixed feelings about my stay

cheerful staffsmall portionlimited dessert
the staff seemed cheerful, i guess.
I stayed a few nights and the roast dinner was underwhelming , to say the least. the portion was tiny , barely enough to feed a small child , and i left feeling hungry. the dessert selection was also limited . I had to settle for ice cream because i dislike the other options.

Relaxing stay with spa benefits

excellent leisuregarden viewfriendly staffuncomfortable join
I was impressed by the excellent leisure facilities. The spa, gym, and pool area were lovely and well kept. The large windows near the pool gave a great view of the gardens. I found the staff attentive, competent, and friendly.
My king bed consisted of two singles pushed together. The join in the middle was very uncomfortable. I would have liked a seamless mattress.
Location

The hotel is nestled in a beautiful tranquil location. I enjoyed a 4-mile walk to Pentewan from the hotel. Short drives took me to Mevagissey, Charlestown, and other coastal sites nearby.
