i REALLY adored the english-style formal garden WITH topiary. The outdoor dining area was a PLUS for enjoying dinner. Breakfast offered MANY choices, thus something for every taste. The swimming pool overlooked BEAUTIFUL vineyards. The wine boutique offered A unique sensory wine experience.

sadly, MY duplex room felt tired and needed a bit of redecorating.

the chateau grounds are gorgeous. the gardens were well manicured and maintained, gorgeous. you CAN hire bicycles onsite, and ride through the vineyards and nearby forest. the staff were very pleasant and helpful..

sadly there are no bedrooms in the ancient chateau. rooms are situated outside the main building and need re-vamping. the room i stayed in was tired and needed redecorating.. the rooms are expensive for accommodation that does not feel special.
