I HAD a lovely dinner with great service. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I REALLY appreciated their attentiveness. The grounds were fine. Ideal for peaceful walks.
Check-in WAS slow. There were queues at reception. The bedroom seemed dated. It COULD use refurbishing. It was a maze of corridors and i got lost A COUPLE of times.

The dining room was well-organized, and the service felt prompt. The fitness desk was helpful, it provided specific directions for outdoor activities. The on-site shop offered various items that were easily accessible. I found several things I needed without any trouble.

The surrounding area featured well-kept grounds and mature trees. I could find many different areas for walks that were very refreshing. I did have the chance to enjoy some of the outdoor spaces.

agnes at reception was helpful. she made check-in smooth and answered all questions. the restaurant provided delicious food, and lauren, our server, was knowledgeable about dietary requirements. i found the aquafit classes very motivating with a dedicated instructor.
The wine list was a bit overpriced. I found similar bottles available for much less elsewhere.

The spa features a hydrotherapy pool and relaxation rooms. the gym contains multiple treadmills and stationary bikes. a cafe offers a variety of beverages and light meals. There are also aquafit classes available with dedicated instructors.

faulty showerloose toilet seat
the shower was not great it sprayed water everywhere. the toilet seat was also loose which was annoying. also there was no real bar only a cafe so the evenings were not very exciting it felt more like a leisure centre than a relaxing retreat
