The breakfast included a choice of continental, full english, and pancakes with maple syrup. our family room, room 17, was beautiful and large. The beds were comfortable. the spacious shower had perfect water pressure and soft towels were provided. nespresso machine coffee and tea facilities. three mineral water bottles were a nice touch.

The bathroom showed a little wear, but nothing affected our stay. It was very quiet though, and there was plenty of onsite parking.

Ample parking is available onsite, which adds convenience. the bar and lunchtime menu are a definite bonus, and the location is great for exploring. Staff are cute and friendly, we loved that.

the breakfast was very good with a nice atmosphere. the cooked breakfast had flavour and was thoroughly enjoyed. we sat outside in the afternoon and evening and the food was lovely, so nice.

warm welcomeking sized bedmodern showerlarge outside area

carol welcomed us warmly upon arrival. she guided us to our room and specified meal times. lots of drawers were in the room for clothing storage and the wardrobe was good sized too. modern shower room features hand wash, body wash and shampoo products. the bar and restaurant reminded me of a coaching inn. there are tables outside too. i like all of the amenities.

the bed mattress felt too firm. a topper would improve comfort for guest. i like everything else

the location is perfect. castles and gardens are close. i also enjoyed seeing chatham docks. even going to the seaside is easy because it is only 90 minutes away.

The room itself seemed alright at first glance. I found the mattress to be hard. It really bothered my back. the pillows were very thin. Dinner was inconsistent. I'd advise against ordering the gravy because it tasted awful. I felt the quality didn't match the price.
