Charming Stay at a Historic Hall

The staff were lovely and always on hand. I enjoyed a reflexology treatment with Emma in the spa. She provided gentle care and checked in throughout the session. The food was very good, and the event team provided assistance to my husband's Celebration of Life. They were very helpful and considerate throughout the entire process.

the information pack in the bedroom mentioned that the shampoos were available for purchase. Upon inquiring, I learned the hotel had switched suppliers and no longer sold them. This was disappointing, since I loved the shampoo and wanted to buy some bottles.

The christmas meal had three courses. It was very good quality. The staff were polite and attentive, I really enjoyed the disco because it catered for all age groups. The disco was very good value, which I always appreciate!

The room had tired furniture. The lighting was poor, I think the bathroom was dreadful with cheap bath. It had broken shower fittings, I really hated pullcord overhead lighting and no ambient light over the mirror.

The room felt dated. i booked an "executive double" and expected more than what i got. the room was right above the breakfast area and it was impossible to sleep in past 7:30 due to loud music. there was no hot water in the morning and the bathroom fixtures needed repair.
