Wonderful Coastal Retreat

I enjoyed the warm welcome upon arrival. Molly gave us a tour of the public areas, filled with comfortable furniture and artwork. The views of the bay from nearly every room are fine. The changing light was gorgeous! We saw a letter confirming the hotel was built by smugglers.

Registering my car for parking felt unnecessary. The hotel is at the end of a very long track.

The hotel provides access to walking routes, and maps are available! The rooms are warm, with organic milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. bath and shower gels in the ensuite, it's great. Check-out remains at the generous time of 11 am.

The hotel boasts a fine location, as I had sea views directly from my room! I spent time in awe watching the black sky and amazing stars, an experience so rare without street lamps! This place has a fantastic setting.

The hotel uses organic, fresh food cooked from the menu, and I chose fresh fish with organic vegetables. Breakfasts really prepared me for the day. The cooked breakfast included a window table overlooking the island! The dining experience was awesome.

I appreciated the hotel's location right on the water's edge. The views were fine. the staff was friendly and cute (molly at reception was kind), going above and beyond to assist all guests. the beds were also super comfy and the 11 am departure time allowed for a relaxed morning, this was something i valued.

the breakfast range was fairly limited, , made it a bit disappointing. some improvements could enhance this dining experience, especially when considering the price.
