quiet stay near historical site

i found the staff very friendly. the breakfast was good. i liked the fresh orange juice. our room even had a kettle and bottles of water.
the hotel had a vibe with large groups. these groups took over the hotel sometimes.

the location overlooks the sea and mountains. i noted it was within walking distance to the center of town. the setting felt quiet and calm, despite being near tourist spots.

I appreciated the comfortable beds in my room. The hotel provided sweet treats as a welcome gift. This WAS a nice touch. I also found the water pressure in the shower amazing. It is a short walk to local restaurants.
The hotel seemed quite busy because several large bus tours arrived. It created a bit of a crowded atmosphere at times. Dinner was largely a buffet, and it felt mostly pre-fabricated.

the hotel felt somewhat dated. my room, a classic double or twin room, could use an update. the bed wasn't as comfortable as i hoped, and the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. also, i found the breakfast buffet somewhat limited and repetitive .

the pool area was a nice feature. (i enjoyed a quick dip)
The bed in my classic double or twin room was rather uncomfortable. It reminded me of two separate halves. the pillows provided little support and reminded me of sacks filled with air. honestly, i didn't sleep very well.

Scenic Hotel with Great Amenities

The architecture and design of the building impressed me. I found the pool overlooking the hills very inviting and providing a beautiful view extending to the sea. Parking right outside the hotel was also convenient. The hotel is a short walk from the Oracle, which allowed me to explore the town on foot and then return for a swim.
The beds were worn. We had two consecutive dinner buffets and both were identical. We would have liked a change. The rooms are very noisy.
