a pleasant stay near the ferry

i found the location excellent for my overnight stay before catching a ferry. the hotel had free parking and it was close to the city center. i appreciated the good breakfast i had at the hotel (the coffee was pretty strong!).

the hotel felt a little tired. the room could use some updating.

the air con worked well, i must admit..

Parking was a real problem. They sent me to the hospital parking lot. the directions were vague. nobody even bothered to show me to my room, just rattled off the number and pointed vaguely.

The room had a big comfortable bed and a fridge.

I was disappointed by the noise. Trains run close to the hotel and begin early, around 5:00 a.m. It was impossible to sleep in. I would not stay here again unless this issue is addressed.

The staff were nice. my room had a good view of the bay from the top floor. It also featured port windows. the room was spacious, and it included plenty of storage area for luggage.

The hotel's proximity to the train station was bothersome. there was considerable noise in my room. I could hear the trains passing by frequently. the parking wasn't available and they redirect you to the hospital parking which i found inconvenient.
