Wonderful stay with fantastic service

The staff was friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. My room faced the front, offering a lovely window seat with a beautiful view. The bed was fantastic, and the bathroom was huge (it.).
My room was very warm, but a fan was provided to help with the temperature.

estuary view comfortable bed free parking hot room broken fan dated furniture
My room had a lovely view overlooking the Dee Estuary. The bed was comfortable (I slept very well!). Breakfast had a good selection. Free parking was available, a definite plus.
The room felt quite hot. A fan was available, but it was broken. Some furniture in the room looked dated.

Decent stay, some minor drawbacks

clean room stand alone shower good choice bird droppings hot room open windows
The room was pretty clean. I did enjoy the stand alone shower, it worked properly. The breakfast buffet offered a good choice of pastries and also fruit.
The outside windowsill had a significant amount of bird droppings. I saw this because I had to open the windows for fresh air. The room was very hot, that was a problem.

The king size bed was comfortable. The terrace offered fantastic views. The location proved ideal for exploring the local area.
the breakfast buffet lacked variety. The cooked breakfast items seemed dry. I found some of the items inedible.

The staff offered a warm welcome. They gave detailed explanations about late entry details to the room. They also informed me about meal serving times. It was very useful.

The hotel features a restaurant that offers fresh, well-presented meals. I had a roast dinner with many other main course options available. The portions were nice, and the food arrived hot.
