I stayed one night on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate. The hotel is excellent and comfortable, located in a pretty village. My room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant provided amazing food with varied gluten-free options.

The food quality impressed me greatly. The menu featured excellent choices. wonderful cocktails were available, and everyone enjoyed their meals. i especially enjoyed the iced mocha parfait pudding, described by one in our group as the year's best. i felt the staff were all good.
i noticed the choice of wines could have been more extensive and reasonably priced.

The hotel decor is beautiful. The hotel rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Bedding and towels feel of excellent quality. A high end coffee machine offered a variety of coffees with home made shortbread.
Bar service was somewhat slow. I waited ten minutes for a drink when the bar was empty and the order was incorrect.
