A Gem Near Hadrian's Wall

The staff were INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful. The food both nights was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Thai options, you could tell it was freshly prepared. The room was comfortable after long walks. The location is a bonus, near many forts and museums.

the room was clean. the bathroom was beautiful and the bed was amazingly comfortable. hot drinks and biscuits were available, with water topped up each day.

i noticed the smell of greasy food. the carpet condition leading to the room was disgusting. it seemed a little neglected. the noise from the pub was noticeable in the evenings, a slight disturbance

The room's carpet was really stained.. it looked awful and definitely needs replacing soon. the hallway leading to my room also had a noticeable smell of cooking oil. This really bothered me.
