Inconsistent Experience with Dated Elements

outdated furniture small bathroom

The location allowed convenient access to planned activities.

I found several issues disappointing. The small sea view room felt overcrowded with outdated furniture. The bathroom was also tiny. I have never stayed in such a small one (in over 40 years of traveling!). There was a step up from the bathroom to the bedroom and another down to the balcony, which I thought were unnecessary.

I was grateful for the hotel team's warm welcome, and they upgraded our room selection. the hotel's location was amazing with panoramic sea views set back from the beach. the breakfast was excellent. The seaside grill restaurant and olio cafe were great too.

Our impressions were not great from the start. No one came out to help with our bags. we got to reception. There was no greeting. the reception staff looked like they couldn't find our reservation as they tapped away on the keyboard!

The breakfast buffet was extensive. I enjoyed many options. The hotel is well located in the resort. It is situated on the main street. Rooms face the road and others face the well maintained gardens, the pool and the sea.

The reception area was sometimes a bit chaotic.

good variety beachfront walkway

The breakfast had a variety of choices. Daily room service kept the room supplied with refreshments and bottled water. I liked the beachfront walkway a lot. There were many local restaurants and bars nearby.

The hotel reception felt a little chaotic to me.
