small rooms limited supplies
the location was acceptable since it was near nishiki market.
the room size was too small, there was practically no storage space for luggage. limited tea or coffee supplies was provided, just one per person per day. there was also no netflix or prime, i found that odd.

a decent experience

central location comfortable beds clean rooms frosted windows no coffee minimal amenities
what a location! the nishiki market was basically next door, so lots of food options, yes! the rooms were very clean and beds felt just right. i even grabbed some pajamas like the ones in the room because those were so comfortable!
the windows were all frosted up, so you cannot look outside, that's a bummer. no coffee in the room. they want me to pay for it at the hotel cafe. minimal amenities is also a problem, there isnt much!

a tender stay

helpful elevator clean rooms unexpected kindness
the hotel's elevator were a gift, so helpful with all our luggage. the rooms were clean, with space aplenty, so rare in japan. a staff member found a chair for my mother to bathe, a kindness i didn't expect. this simple act made the room even more precious.
the windows, frosted, didn't offer a view outside.
Location

the hotel stood close to markets, inviting strolls to kamo river's laneways. convenience stores lined nearby streets, pharmacies were steps away. the area felt peaceful, a welcome retreat.
Rooms
10/10
our room shone with modern touches, spacious and super clean, an embrace. the rain shower in the bathroom was large. beds welcomed weary travelers with soft comfort after long days.
