fantastic stay

early breakfast hall condition
the chef kindly prepared breakfast early for me before my early checkout since breakfast hadn't started yet. i visited again shortly after my last visit and the staff remained exemplary. the gammon i ordered was full of flavour and came in a plentiful portion. the hall and grounds are in great condition also.
the restaurant menu seemed a little limited to standard pub fare i think there should be more variety. the bar closed early, and i was not aware of this when ordering a drink.

The room was newly renovated in a French style, it was AMAZING!!! The towels and dressing gowns felt fluffy. The welsh breakfast tasted tasty. I loved it.

i was charmed by my recent visit. the hotel's building is beautiful (a great backdrop for photos). the staff was friendly and always ready to assist. i particularly enjoyed the quiet rooms.
i found that the bar closed quite early , it limited opportunities for evening relaxation.
