shower water missing shelf
The staff was friendly. The location was perfect for my walk along the Severn Way.
The bathroom was a disaster. Water from the shower splashed everywhere. The light in the bathroom also went off. There was nowhere to put my sponge bag. I found this very inconvenient.

Lovely River View and Great Breakfast
river view decorated room comfortable bed excellent breakfast
The location overlooking the river was lovely. I particularly enjoyed the view. The room was recently decorated and very warm. The bed had quality cotton bed linen, and the pillows were comfortable. I found the breakfast excellent and right by the river.
The parking available was only ad-hoc, so i had to park a little distance away.

The bar offered a nice atmosphere and outdoor seating. I had both lunch and dinner. The meals had good value. Breakfast was a large full English Breakfast, and I found it very nice.

The staff was friendly and helpful . When I had a minor mix-up with my room upon arrival the customer service was excellent. A member of staff even moved her car so i could park.

The location was ideal, with a fantastic view of the river severn. It's A beautiful spot. I fully recommend a visit, even if just passing through. The area offers plenty of things to see.

The room was everything was super clean and refurbished recently. I found it to a high standard. My room had dual aspect windows. The view looked straight down the river. The luxurious mattress gave me a great rest.

mixed feelings ABOUT THE stay
basic breakfast missing coat hooks
location was GOOD, next to the river.
No coat hooks WAs in the room, and the breakfast was very basic. There was no fruit available. I expected at least a minimum selection. No one told us dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area, annoying when you travel with a pet.

my room was comfortable. it was a standard king room and it was spacious. the staff were friendly and helpful at check-in.
the parking situation was not ideal. i had to park quite far away in a side street. the bar closed early one evening at 8.30pm without any notice.

comfortable bed river view poor service missing coffee
the room had a comfortable bed. the shower room was well appointed. the hotel location by the river was convenient. i appreciated the views over the severn.
i stayed for three days. my room was not serviced once in that time so coffee and tea ran out. i expect to have a near normal service in place or at least be informed so i can pick up tea and coffee for myself.

riverside retreat, a good stay
river view friendly staff cozy linen
The location next to the river severn was perfect, offering lovely views and ample outdoor seating. The friendly staff contributed to a very cute atmosphere. My room had high-quality white cotton bed linen, so cozy. i also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning.
the limited parking options meant i had to park some distance away, it was quite inconvenient especially with luggage.
