the hotel has a great location near the river barrow. there is a large car park available, i found it very convenient. fresh flowers are on display, i saw them in the lobby area.

the breakfast choices were good (especially the variety). i loved the setting of the hotel with the river nearby. i also found the staff to be friendly.
the room seemed a little sad, cold and very humid. the windows did not close well, or at all. there was a persistent unpleasant smell throughout the hotel, i noted.

Breakfast included a great selection of fruit and yogurt. Hot food options were also available. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The lounge area by the fire was comfortable.
The tv in the room was quite small. It was also far from the bed.

plenty parkingmusty odorslow replacement
the location was acceptable and parking had plenty of spaces.
My room had a rather musty odor. the tv remote was not working, and i needed to request assistance to get it replaced. this was a minor inconvenience, however it should have been checked prior to my arrival. the replacement took some time. I believe it should be a faster process.
