the room was spacious. i enjoyed the comfortable beds (slept like a log!). the breakfast was delicious a la carte.

the room furniture was not functional (the cushions were misshapen!). the toilet flush required multiple attempts. it was annoying.

The kitchen noise was excessive. The banging and clattering persisted late. i requested a quieter room, but staff claimed none were available. i found this hard to believe as i saw only one other guest. the internal phone went unanswered. I had to call the main hotel number to reach someone. the bed's comfort was also subpar. these factors detracted significantly from my stay.

The staff was super cute and accommodating. One of them, Ava, recommended places we should visit along the Ring of Kerry, including Valencia Island. I had not heard of it before (I am so grateful!).

The room I had was right above the kitchen. It was noisy because of the banging and clattering. The kitchen fans ran well after meals ended and this was very disturbing. (I didn't sleep well that night.)
