The location was perfect. It gave easy access to the region's most AMAZING places. chateaus are plentiful, and sarlat is only a 15-minute drive. the apartment included modern conveniences and a nespresso machine. breakfast was delivered each morning. It included croissants, baguette, jams, butter, yogurts, large orange juices, jambon, brie, apples, bananas. coffee and tea.
I paid for an upgraded room WITH a balcony and views, but instead, i received a room in a remote part of the hotel that overlooked a dirt patch. the room had serious electrical issues. The lights turned off when we used the tiny induction range. not having someone immediately available to contact does not work for me.

this apartment hotel was new to me. the apartment contained high-quality equipment, and the overall finish was excellent. the kitchen featured good equipment and so did the bathroom! the king bed was very comfortable. i could hear owls from the private terrace at night.
the absence of a front desk made immediate assistance difficult. finding someone to contact required time and effort. this process made issue resolution less convenient.

The location was suitable for exploring the area.
The advertised air conditioning did not work upon arrival (a real bummer). Staff said storms caused it and it could not be fixed. We were given electric fans. These did little to alleviate the muggy bedrooms. I never received those restaurant recommendations I was promised by email.
