The hotel's decor is amazing and the rooms are large. The bathroom was super clean and the beds excellent. I found the views toward the castle grounds lovely.

perfect location friendly staff

the hotel location allows enjoyment of major attractions with a short walk. The hotel's atmosphere evoked the historical period. The onsen was wonderful. I found the staff friendly, always ready to help with a smile.

i noticed the absence of skincare amenities in the room, especially given the price point. This small addition could definitely elevate the guest experience. I also thought that the wifi in my room was not stable.

a decent hotel overall

the staff exhibited excellent professionalism. they were helpful. the breakfast had a great range of japanese dishes and the best tofu i have ever tasted. the shop has beautiful gold leaf souvenirs. i still have the slippers, they are comfortable.

The hotel is aged and the carpets are old. it has dark old-fashioned furniture. i didn't see much effort put into western fare. Lots of options were asian. busy streets are nearby.
