fantastic stay with rooftop pool

i loved the room's peranakan aesthetic, it felt so unique (a real taste of the local culture). the rooftop pool was a real highlight, with great views. the breakfast was excellent too with real coffee. (not that machine stuff you sometimes get!)

The fridge was empty. Not even water was in there! i asked, and they gave me lukewarm tap water. also, they charged me a deposit for the empty minibar?!

i found cultural details very well incorporated into the room's design. the shophouse vibe was definitely a highlight for me. i could easily walk to diverse restaurants each evening and breakfast was also really good.
I thought the wall of the room felt a bit thin. I could hear my neighbor sometimes. it wasn't a major issue, but it affected the otherwise serene atmosphere.

my room included coffee and tea making facilities, which i really appreciated. the indochina style was nice, and the bathroom had a good layout with well-placed amenities.

the front desk team was efficient and helpful (they always seemed to know what i needed). everyone addressed requests quickly and really. i felt well-cared for.

the location provided easy access to various dining spots and local shops. public transport was also nearby, including bus stops and a metro station. the neighborhood had a pleasant atmosphere.

The rooftop pool offered a refreshing experience with cool water and a relaxing environment. i saw the terrace and pool area get consistent maintenance. It felt clean and well-kept. i saw staff cleaning it every day.
