really good hotel

fine hotelcozy areafresh fruit

the hotel is fine. staff treated me well. the room was very comfortable. the decor is charming. breakfast included fresh fruit and pastries. i enjoyed avocado toast. the common areas are cozy. this townhouse is where jane austen's brother lived.

i did not see ann.

the beautiful queen room included classic furniture with modern features. there was an ac unit and a dyson fan. the room provided electric sockets and a kettle (i found this quite useful).

the breakfast was prepared by larry. he prepared soufflé pancakes. i appreciate the team's attention to detail and the ambiance of the building, it felt very special. the staff was helpful and professional.

the breakfast was quite good and served in a lovely setting. it was a pleasant start to the day.

The bathroom had some maintenance issues. the shower screen handle was loose. using the handheld shower caused cold water to drip from the overhead shower. Also two lights above the mirror did not work so there was not enough light. the mini bar was not properly stocked, it lacked basic items like beer or wine.
